If I had to recommend a beginners book for Therapeutic Recreation I would most definitely recommend this book because of its easy reading. As a beginner you want something that is interesting and easy to understand and with this book you get all of that and more.

I thought this was a good text for my Intro class. I wish I hadn't sold it back after the semester. I re bought this text to study for my CTRS exam. It has proved invaluable.

I ordered this becasue the book was not available in the book store in my school. It is a required text, but I see myself using this book going into the profession itself. I wont be selling this book back.
